DHL: Operations Controller
- Manage the operation
- Meet and exceed operational service levels and manage the cost of labour
- Drive and develop team culture
- Delivery of Key Performance Indicators
- Compliance with statutory and Company Policies and Procedures
- HR Issues – Managing Industrial Relations
- Change Management
- Quality Control – both DHL and Client requirements, with specific focus on Enzyme handling
- Budget Management
- Compliance to Standard Operating Procedures, with focus on Enzyme handling
- Active participation in stock counts i.e. Planning, Preparation and Physical counting of stock
- Team Building and Morale Management
- Delivery of safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for Team Members with focus on Enzyme handling
- Maximize accuracy, productivity, space utilization and advise on continuous improvement
- Translate, analyze and deliver customer needs through effective operations, buying into Customer driven improvement programmes
- Ensure daily and weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are accomplished, without downtime
- Effective Leadership and Management of the operational and administrative teams
- Maintain appropriate information / reporting systems to monitor the operational performance on an on going basis
