Vodafone: Rewards and Benefits Lead

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Matric essential.
Post Matric qualification – 3-year Degree/Diploma from a recognized tertiary institution in either HR or Finance.
5 – 8 years of sound experience in compensation management and/or data analysis.
South African Reward Association (SARA) Global Reward Practitioner qualification would be an advantage.
Strong numerical and advanced analytical and Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior managers.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both oral and written.
Excellent relationship and project management skills.
Excellent influencing skills and credibility at the senior level.
Self-Starter.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize own work as well as that of others.
Good working knowledge of employee tax, certain elements of corporate tax, and legal compliance requirements of reward.
Stays abreast of current trends related to the Rewards & Benefits products and services and anticipates future trends likely to have an impact on the business.
Experience in the completion and analysis of remuneration surveys available in our markets.
Experience in using HR databases and other IT systems.
Experience in creating and implementing Reward Policies and managing the changes.
Experience in rewards and benefits in Africa would be advantageous.
Experience in international mobility/expatriate management would be advantageous.
Experience in job evaluation.
