Media24: Sales Representative
Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written & verbal
- Ability to foster good relations with bookshops and colleagues
- Strong interpersonal, organisational and selling skills
- Must be enthusiastic, motivated, pro-active and able to work independently
- Sales experience
- A knowledge of/interest in literary and illustrated books is essential
- Experience in book retail would be an advantage
- A matric certificate
- A relevant qualification is preferred
- A valid code 08 driver’s licence and be available for travel
- Computer literacy is necessary
Duties would include:
- Selling and promoting a defined range of books
- Achieving sales targets
- Maintaining good relations with our customers
- Ensuring that our books are appropriately stocked in retail outlets
- Continual building of specific product knowledge
- Representing the company in a positive way to customers
