Job Description

City of Ekurhuleni: Cashier (Fare Collection)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide the station with efficient customer service and address customer complaints correctly and timeously
  • Perform a financial administrative function by providing and submitting accurate and filled shift reports
  • Assist with station communication by arranging monthly meetings and provide minutes to the Operations manager
  • Oversee station infrastructure by conducting daily site inspection and report to control on the infrastructure state of the station
  • Attend to personnel management aspects of the station by completing employee attendance register and indicate personnel timelines

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • N6 in Financial/ Business/ Public Admin or Cost Management Accounting
  • Diploma in Financial Management will serve as an advantage
  • 1 year experience in a similar environment
