City of Ekurhuleni: Declaration Support Officer

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient and effective administrative support in respect of Councillors’ declarations
  • Provide secretarial support to the Councillors’ declarations
  • Provide administrative support to the Ethics and Integrity Committee
  • Provide administrative support to the Divisional Head Legal and Procedural Support in respect of Councillors’ declarations

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or relevant equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
  • Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to observe and understand protocol
  • Ability to exercise discretion and security awareness consistent with the role and reputation of the Office
