Job Description

Lancet : Contact Centre Supervisor

Provides oversight and responsibility for the performance and operation of the department. Oversees performance on a daily basis, taking corrective action where necessary to ensure functionality. Effectively manages staff to ensure departmental standards and expectations are realized.

Responsible for customer retention through active relationship building
Minimum Criteria Required:

Grade 12
Experience:

3-5 Yrs Relevant Working Experience
Relevant Job Knowledge:

Business processes and services
Computer literate
Occupational Health and Safety
Quality management system
Key Performance Areas:

 

  • Manages, trains, mentors and coach staff to ensure they have skills required by the organisation and are able to achieve their performance objectives, and customer service.
  • Contributes as a member of the Collections Contact Centre management team to the development of an overall Contact Centre strategy for Lancet in line with business needs.
  • Allocates work and resources amongst the team, chairs meetings with own staff to discuss operational requirements and contingency plans.
  • Monitors the daily activities of the team to ensure maintenance of occupancy levels and adherence to schedules.
