  • Responsible for operation of switchboard and directing all incoming calls
  • Receive and welcome clients and visitors
  • Responsible for maintaining the reception area, including meeting rooms
  • Assist in setting up of meeting rooms prior to meetings
  • Assisting with preparation of refreshments for clients as well specified internal meeting
  • Setup, meeting rooms, training rooms, canteens, kitchens and bar. Ensure these areas are always in an acceptable condition
  • Maintaining sufficient stock levels of all consumables and refreshments
  • Be willing to assist with additional functions, with regard to hospitality and additional support roles when required
  • Working hours are from 8 am – 5 pm / 1 hour lunch break

  • Welcoming quests in a professional manner
  • Managing calls at the reception area
  • Direct calls quickly, efficiently and professionally
  • Taking messages and ensuring that staff members receive their messages within due time
  • Direct clients to correct meeting rooms, and offer assistance when required
  • Assisting with adhoc duties such as courier service, stock control etc.

  • Must be pro-active, helpful, able to use initiative and not a clock watcher
  • Switchboard experience
  • Excellent Telephone manner
  • Drivers license
  • Own reliable transport is necessary


  • Matric
  • 2 years experience in a similar role
