General Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement a management system for your team within the organisation and initiate the appropriate interventions to secure compliance in terms of service delivery, quality and innovation.
  • Ensure that you work according to relevant procedures at all times
  • Ensure safe work practice as defined during induction and other related Health & Safety training
  • Perform HR and training related administrative functions
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is received timeously and accurately to maintain record
  • Obtain necessary signatures for all documentation
  • Update and maintain weekly and monthly HR KPI’s
  • Maintain a proper filing system
  • Assist with absenteeism management
  • Liaise with training, in assisting with training needs {KPI’s, record keeping, monitoring etc.}
  • Management of NBC leaves
  • Elevate problems / queries to your Line Manager for resolution
  • Planning and organising for work, people and HR Management
  • Any other reasonable and executable tasks within your ability, assigned by your Line Manager
  • Administration and co-ordination of performance management
  • Ensure all work is done according to relevant procedures at all times
  • Contribute to the establishment and improvement of Labour and employee relations – union negotiations, disciplinary and grievance procedures

Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
  • 3 years experience in a similar role

  • Computer literacy
  • Communication skills
  • HR experience
  • Sound recruitment knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure

Languages

English both spoken and written.
