  • Managing employee information and filing for the HR Department
  • Providing HR support and general administration to the HR team and Branches
  • Compiling and distributing salary capture forms and recruitment documents
  • Administering the reporting and capturing of leave
  • Administering the bursary application process
  • Administering the time and attendance system (Ecotime/Bestime)
  • Assisting with IR related issues in order to facilitate IR process compliance
  • Processing HR documents, including new recruitments and terminations records
  • Drafting job descriptions and advertisements, shortlisting thereafter forwarding resumes received for open positions to the appropriate manager, scheduling interviews, providing feedback and executing employment checks
  • Facilitation of the onboarding process for all new recruits
  • Facilitation of the IOD process
  • Facilitation of the desertion process
  • Facilitating Bargaining Council inspections and Labour Department inspections
  • Ensuring adherence across the group to all policies and applicable legislation
Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Computer literate – Basic understanding Word, E-Mail, Excel
  • General understanding of administration processes and procedures
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written on all levels – both internally and externally
  • Good time management – ability to meet specific deadlines
  • Must have attention to detail and be results driven
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Knowledge of basic labour legislation in South Africa
  • Knowledge of the National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry (NBCRFLI) and Motor Industry Bargaining Council (MIBCO)
  • Knowledge of Time and Attendance systems
  • Knowledge of pension and provident fund processes
  • Own vehicle to and from work
  • Exceptional people skills and communication
  • General understanding of Health and Safety
