Barloworld: Strategy M & A Intern


A leading company in Corporate Industry is looking to employ an Intern for their branch in Sandton.


• Understanding Group Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions objectives and function
• Supporting objectives through learning key deliverables and facilitating execution of these
• Support design and streamlining of functional administrative processes 
• Track key strategic project costs 
• Maintain administrative universe for Strategy, M&A function including critical data; supplier contracts and invoices; payment schedule
• Support Barloworld strategy deployment and governance processes
• Liaise with key suppliers within Strategy, M&A function 
• Support daily administrative tasks
• Perform Due Diligence report for vetting of new suppliers  
• Assist with departmental queries 
• Perform ad-hoc functions and any other activities as requested by senior operations manager
• Support Budget and Forecasting Process 
• Perform month-end processing and monthly divisional and departmental cost allocations
• Perform monthly variance analysis 
• Load purchase requisitions and orders on Sage X3 system 
• Load invoices on Laserfiche system 
• Facilitate monthly payment process (recurring and ad hoc)
• Respond to role specific departmental queries


•National Diploma – Financial Accounting or similar qualification
