An opportunity has presented itself to appoint a suitably qualified candidate into the position of Courier Admin Clerk. This is a Permanent position based at Witbank Lab .
Responsible for receiving, logging, scanning and send away of specimens during the shift to meet the required service level standards. Also responsible for collection and delivery of samples as well as delivery of results in hospital.
Minimum Criteria Required:
Valid Drivers licence
0-1 Yrs Relevant Working Experience
Relevant Job Knowledge:
Laboratory information systems
Organisational policy procedures
Key Performance Areas:
- Receive specimens from doctors, depots and hospitals through the couriers and register barcodes on them for easy identification of the type and content of the specimen according to set standard operating procedures.
- Verify on Meditech system whether the correct specimen is received and confirm the content of the sample. This will also entail ensuring that the specimens received are for the correct patients.
