PC&L Trainee/Intern

 Main purpose of the role: 

The role of a Production Control and Logistics Graduate is to plan and support FES deployment, drive the implementation of PC&L tools and methodologies within a plant and create and implement improvement ideas.

Essential responsibilities and duties:

As a PC&L Graduate, your main responsibilities are as follows:  

  • Ensure PC&L methods and tools implementation within a plant
  • Assist Plant with PC&L standards: MIFA, Milk run, levelling, Boards, Pull System, 7 Delivery & Inventory Basics
  • Provide technical support to other functions when needed
  • Train and coach plant employees when necessary
  • Carry out progress workshops, in accord with the plant PC&L manager & the global task force Improvement plan
  • Deploy visual management system in a way to improve reactivity in case of problem (Alert system)
  • Identify and implement best practices
  • Ensure Know-how capitalization and check that standard forms are used
  • Provide traction & visibility on 7 Inventory Basics & ERP data accuracy in task force targeted plants
  • Assist PC&L team with adhoc related task/activities.

Qualifications and Experience 

  • National Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in industrial or supply-chain management
  • Multi-functional & Multi-cultural communication
  • SAP knowledge appreciated, especially MM module
  • Minimum bi-lingual (English + one other languages)
  • Customer orientation / Team spirit / Autonomy
