Intern- Intern – ICT Support Agent work under the supervision of the Direct Line Manager as well as the mentor(s) that they have been assigned to work with.
Provide 1st line technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software.
Responsible for answering queries and addressing system and user issues in a timely and professional manner and escalating to the next level of support specialists when and if required.
•To execute the instructions of the Senior Systems and Database Administrator when required
•Answering and providing telephonic, technical and user support.
•Monitor, Test and Inspect ICT equipment.
•Monitor Daily email notifications and service desk requests.
•Escalate and Log Risks and Issues as they occur.
•Log all client requests on the service desk logging system.
•IT Degree or equivalent IT diploma
•Effective communication and written skills
•Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
